Let me introduce you to my blog, where I will record my thoughts on design, new media, the things in between, and maybe some writing. Who knows. Solutions, ideas, projects and processes therein. Let's rock this.

Next, I will introduce you to me. I'm Jennifer Patel, a hopeful designer, maybe writer, and probably most definitely a nerd. I like video games and tabletop role play, Godzilla, Star Trek, reading (I might even review a few books, who's to say?), writing, attempting to draw (I like to think I'm awful, but I do it anyway), making pretty things, making functional things, combining the two to make pretty functional things. I even like food and traveling (which I never do because I'm broke, including eating. Who needs food anyway?). I'm not terribly interesting, and I don't really have a lot to say, but I figure I might as well since it's the internet, and I think we all know there are worse things to come by on the internet.

I just hope my future posts might be a little more worthwhile. We will see.
