pxlB Office Cafe / experience concept
  • Flash, ActionScript
  • Photoshop
  • HTML, CSS, PHP

[Check out our blog]. This was a team project, done in conjunction with Xerox, in which designers and developers combined their talents to visualize what the workplace would be like in the year 2020. For this project, I developed the blog, powered by Wordpress and designed by Ryan Dixon. I was also involved in the development of the pxlB interface. Our assumption was that due to the increase in telecommuting, more and more workers will turn to freelance. The pxlB Office Cafe offers the space, technology, job security, and collaborative environment that is typically lost when freelancing.

Future Fit / retail experience concept
  • Photoshop
  • Maxon Cinema4D
[Visit the site]. Future Fit is based on a project proposed by Benetton to visualize the future retail is headed toward. In this case, the customer will enter the store and step into a pod which will scan and measure her feet. The customer can then use a blank design as a canvas, interacting with a the hologram to adjust the shoe to her preferences. In the future, she may walk away from the store in her shoes with the exact fit for optimal comfort and satisfaction. [Check out my inspiration].

Energy for the Future / flash website
  • Flash, ActionScript
  • Photoshop
  • HTML, CSS
[Visit the site]. Presented with the problem of creating a Flash-based interactive website focusing on a "green" issue. I wished to educate the user about the pros and cons of alternative energy. My solution is airy and light, reflecting the clean atmosphere that would result from the use of alternative energy.

The Word is Destroy / blog with feeds
  • HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • PHP, MySQL
This was a project to code a personal blog, complete with login, comments, quizzes with admin control, quiz archives, and RSS feeds. Security was not a priority but is included somewhat minimally as it was an example of server side programming skills.

Zig Marketing / website
  • HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • modX CMS : Evolution
[Visit the site]. The original design was rebuilt from the bottom up so that it could be easily content-managed and meet web standards. The portfolio section was redesigned to accommodate the company's growing clientele. In addition, I whipped up a form for Zig Marketing for one of their campaigns, to collect information from winners and email the results to the company. [Check it out!]. I have removed branding affiliated with Zig's client, and so what you find there is an unofficial version which doesn't email out in the end.
